Avril Lavigne

Hey!

I don't get to go to see Avril until she does her Best Damn Tour concert in Kingston, but she just did her first concert date in Victoria B.C. (March 5) so I thought I'd collect some info and reviews about her concert there...

Also newly added is a review of the Regina, Alberta concert, written by the father of an Avril fan (who took her to the concert).

First off, this is apparently the back of her tour bus taken this week, and shows the logo for Avril's new clothing line "Abbey Dawn" coming out in July. Click the pic to see the original blog post and bigger version.

And to back up a bit, I found a great audio interview with Avril from the night before her concert where she talks about her very first concert date ever and more about the pregnancy rumors that keep popping up.

Hey guys!

Oh my gosh!

I played Vancouver last night and Victoria the night before.....and the shows were soooooo great!

The concerts were sold out and some of the best crowds I have experienced. I felt you guys and could see all of your faces and excitement. I just want you to know that all my fans mean the world to me, and again, I am so happy with how the first 2 shows have gone over... :)

UPDATE: A post by an Avril fan's father who took her to the concert

I found a post on the 'News Talk 960' website/blog written by a father who took his daughter to the Regina Alberta Avril Lavigne concert.

He's not exactly in the age group most Avril fans are in, but admits liking some of her music and seemed to enjoy the concert.

And another thing he mentions that's true (and I notice a lot) is:

Avril’s concerts have been heavily criticized by a media that seems reluctant to embrace her but ready to pounce on any mistake she might make but there was nothing wrong with the performance Canada’s pop princess delivered.
