Avril Lavigne

I just found and watched the trailer for an upcoming animated movie where Avril does the voice for " Heather", a possum.

Heather's father "Ozzie's" voice is done by well known star William Shatner (Captain Kirk on Star Trek & now on Boston Legal).

On the website Avril's character is described as ..

Ozzie's 16 Year Old Daughter.

When her father plays dead, Heather dies too -- of embarrassment. To her, the theatrics are pointless and humiliating.

It's only when he pulls off a risky performance to save the other animals that she comes to appreciate her father and her own inborn
talent.

On the website it has lots of information about the movie and the characters, it looks really good. You can also watch the trailer. Since this is Avril's first movie it should be great to see how it turns out!! :)

Wow, I want one of these things! Just read an article about Avril dressing up her cell phone like with teddy bears and stuff like that : ) PRETTY COOL !

Well if you think that dressing up your dog or cat for Halloween is silly, then your gunna get a real laugh out of this one.

Yes, People are dressing inanimate objects (like mobile phones) in seasonal garb. One expert says that's unprecedented -- but to be expected.

And according to what I read, Avril says: "Since you can't feed an iPod candy or carve it into a jack-o'-lantern," she said, "all that's left is dressing it in costume." :)

Well maybe she'll dress it up for Halloween, pretty cool. Apparently Avril isn't the ONLY one to do it - Hilary Duff and model Heidi Klum have also been spotted with this cute little things on their cell phones too.

Just got some cool news about Avril's 21st Birthday partay :)

According to teenhollywood.com:

"Avril Lavigne celebrated her 21st birthday with a cake-filled night out in Los Angeles on September 27th.

The Complicated singer and her Sum 41 rocker fiance Deryck Whilbey, headed to Los Angeles hotspot Element to mark Lavigne's big day."

And then Deryck& Avril must have flown off to to Vegas, since the "Las Vegas Review Journal" reported a week or so back:

"Avril Lavigne was spotted playing slot machines Saturday afternoon at the Palms with her fiance Deryck Whibley of Sum 41.

Lavigne snacked on popcorn and pizza from the food court, washing it down with a dirty martini."

Dirty Martini eh, hmm.. ew ? Well i guess it is legal for her to drink it now! :)

Well they must have had a pretty good time because apparently "In Touch Weekly" published a list of "The 10 Biggest Party Animals In Hollywood" begining with Tara Reid, Diddy, Paris Hilton then AVRIL LAVIGNE, the magazine quoted Avril saying "I just want to get wasted, dance and hang out." !

Just read an article about a shirt that Avril wore on the cover of maxim magazine that she auctioned off on eBay!

As a prize to the winner of the shirt they will also get a copy of the magazine and all proceeds of this auction went to the Red Cross' Hurricane Katrina disaster relief fund - This T-shirt alone raised $560 for Katrina victims!

Just read some cool pages about the history of Avril's last name !

I've always thought "Lavigne" was French because Avril is "April" in french, which might also have something to do with why she likes APRIL fools day so much :) Ha ha. But according to this site, "Lavigne" can be a jewish name too...

Wow I don't know about you, but Avril has kinda SHOCKED me by some of the things she does... In a good way that is. :)

And after finding and posting about Avril getting Punk'D this year - and her getting (understandably) upset by what they did to her - I was surprised to see that Avril likes to "punk" other people on April Fools Day! (April 1)

She even did it to her own mother...!

It was april fools day and everyone loves to give someone a little bit of a scare right, so Avril phoned up her mom and told her she was PREGNANT !! Apparently she doesn't have any limits on the lies for April Fools, which is sometimes a good thing, and other times not so much of a good thing. lol

Another prank she pulled was to go as far as calling her manager and telling him that she was in a brutal accident, and was in the Emergency Room with a broken nose and two black eyes ! Not so good for the manager of Avril Lavigne !

She told MTV Europe she always has to get everyone good on April fools day, and she definatly did THAT year! :)

My last post was about how Avril tours with only two suitcases full of clothes, and then I spottedanother Avril Lavigne fashion related article from around the same time (when she was touring through Asia and Australia a while back)...

Aapparently a major top of the line tailor in Hong Kong described how he came to the rescue of Avril when she ran out of clothes for her Asian tour ! Uh-oh!

Avril phoned up the Sam's Tailor owner in Manu Melwani to get some extra clothes because she wasn't able to get any off-the-peg clothes. I can see why - she's tiny ! :)

Melwani, whose previous clients include former president Bill Clinton and opera star Luciano Pavarotti, made camouflage cargo pants which Avril wore for her Hong Kong show.

He also made her some awesome rockin style trousers and tops, and Av took them with her for the rest of her tour.

As we all know, Avril Lavigne travels a lot on tour - well, come one... She is a rock star ! :)

And when Avril was on tour in Austrailia last April, she had all the stuff she needed in only two suitcases !

When she was asked if she had taken any special ' creature comforts' with her, she simply said no - she likes her bags to be light. Avril said the only thing she brings is two big black suit cases FULL of clothes with her.

Avril mentioned that with heavier bags she couldnt see as much as she could with a light load,
"It is a good experience you know, you get to see a lot of cool places and learn about them. "

Okay so we all know Avril isnt completely loving the interview part of her career right, well she doesn't like to show that she is bored by them, but just can't be bothered to hide her boredom... so Avril Lavigne is not crazy about interviews.

She's not at her best in them, because she can't be bothered to hide her boredom . Another reason she doesn't like them is because she always gets asked the SAME questions over and over.Besides, some of her biggest fans are girls aged eight to 18 and they won't be reading it anyway. :)

So what if they got someone else, some one that just loves Avril, and her music? That isn't a stuck up journalist, that just like Avril isnt too fond of chatting with adults about her personal life... Meh what teenager would ?

So how about a twelve year old named Lilly . She loves Avril and is already started on her way to becoming a typical teenage drama queen : ).
