Avril Lavigne Acts in Indy Movie: "The Flock"!
Avril in another Movie?! Holy moly, she's just keeps moving up! :)
First Avril sang the theme song to the "Sponge Bob Square Pants" movie, then she did a voice for a possum character named Heather in the upcoming animated movie "Over the Hedge" (Click here to read my post about "Over the Hedge")... and now she's going to be in a movie where we actually get to see her!
The movie is called "The Flock" and stars Richard Gere, Claire Danes, and more! I think Avril's role is smaller than in Fast Food Nation, but might be coming out first so we can see her earlier here.

Avril Lavigne will be in New Mexico at the end of the week to begin shooting a small role for her first foray into the acting world, a crime drama called "The Flock," starring Richard Gere and Claire Danes.
"I want to do this for a bit of a change," says Lavigne, now 21. "I want to start off small, see how I like it and make sure I'm comfortable."
She hasn't got an acting coach. "I'm just reading the script and acting out how I think it should be," she says.
In the independent film, Gere plays a federal agent investigating a paroled sex offender's connection to a missing girl. Lavigne will appear in scenes with the award-winning actor, who interestingly is also an accomplished pianist and composer.
"(Richard) plays a cop who is going to go interview this guy who is my boyfriend and he's asking me some questions about him," says the Napanee, ON native of her part.
The pretty blonde is also getting a makeover for the character. "I have a chipped tooth and glasses and all that stuff, so I had to get a mold of my mouth so they could fit a (fake) chipped tooth," she laughs...

I was just searching for the war child website, because i saw a picture of Avril wearing the "War Child" tank top from a picture of one of her concerts. While i was looking at the shirts i found something else...
Avril has two designs of cards and maybe even more. She and many other stars such as Billy Talent & Sarah McLachlan and a few others design these cards and sell them for the charity on the site.
I was looking through one of his galleries and found a picture of Avril Lavigne made out of nothing but your typical everyday chewing gum !!

Well, i was wondering if anyone would be dressing up as Avril for Halloween... So I did a Google Blog search and found out that there actually were quite a few people, but not too many had actually posted pictures of themselves . :(
