Avril Lavigne

Hey!

I was searching around the net and found this video of Avril Lavigne on MTV's Total Request Live (TRL) that was on December 11, 2006 !

The video link is here - but just in case it "disappears" off the net, here's some of the highlights...

• She came on the show to promote "Keep Holding On", the song she wrote for the movie Eragon (I talked about Eragon in my last post too)
• Avril said Fox Studios approached her to write the theme song for Eragon, which she did after only watching a 30 second trailer for the movie...
• The song was to be about the main character's "destiny" and the relationship he has with his dragon.
• Avril was also asked about how things were different between Avril and Deryck now that they're married compared to when they were dating, and she said getting married was a "natural step" since they'd been together for quite a while before that and they are "really happy".
• Oh and the first single off Avril's new album should be out by the end of January(!) - although she wouldn't reveal the name of the song - and the entire album/CD will be out in April.
• She said the new album's songs will be "upbeat" and "fun" and mentioned that Deryck produced a couple of the tracks - just like he did for the upcoming 'Sum 41' album.

I just noticed the have a link to a sampling of the song Avril Lavigne sings called "Keep Holding On" for the sound track to the movie Eragon (I mentioned the Eragon movie in my last post) ...

It sounds really good and I've seen people commenting that Avril has a much more mature voice there, compared to her earlier work - which, like makes a lot of sense since she's OLDER now! lol - and everyone I've read from is saying it sounds great!
