Avril Lavigne

Hey!

Someone posted a couple of videos on YouTube of Avril on the Charlotte Church show being interviewed!

It's a great interview but the BEST part is right at the end (of the part 2 video) where Charlotte asks Avril about La Pizzeria in Napanee naming a pizza after her... and then pulls out the restaurant's Guest Book which is for people to write messages to Avril for her to read.

That's a great part of the interview especially to me because I interviewed Bill, the owner of la Pizzeria, back in September 2005 and I left a message for Avril in the guest book they had for her then too. :) ...also check out the video to see the surprise they had for Avril and the studio audience at the end!

Avril Lavigne & Deryck Whibley just bought a new mansion in Bel-Air in the Los Angeles area!

I saw somewhere that Avril originally wanted to build her own dream house, but she must have found one close enough because they paid $9.5 million dollars for a 3 story "Tuscan-style" 12,000 square-foot home on one half hectare of land.

Avril must like Tuscan-Style houses because she already has one in Beverly Hills that she is apparently selling for $6.2 million!

But their NEW house has 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, plus an elevator, an office, a steam shower, a sauna, a pool, and a garage big enough for 10 cars!

I also read that house use to be owned by Travis Barker (former drummer of Blink-182) and his wife (at the time) Shanna Moakler and its where they filmed their MTV reality show Meet the Barkers - and MTV reported back in August they were putting the house up for sale for $8.5 million, and from everything I've read it has bounced between $8.0 and $9.5 million ever since.
UPDATE: I just read that Travis Barker bought this house in September 2004 for $6.2 million!

Avril on Television

OH - and also, I saw in one of the news reports that Avril will be the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" this Saturday at 11:30 pm on NBC!

She's also going to be on "Good Morning America'' and "Late Night With David Letterman'' on April 17, "Live With Regis and Kelly'' on April 18 and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show'' on April 20.

Avril Lavigne denies saying anything bad about Britney Spears !

Earlier this week "The Sun" newspaper had an interview with Avril and claimed Avril said:

"What's happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person." and more

But Avril never said it!

Here's a recording of part of Avril's interview with Los Angeles radio DJs Valentine and Lisa Foxx on Star 98.7 where Av says:

"I haven't even been talking about her. People ask me about it all the time and I go, 'You know what? I don't know her.'"

This week the CBC here in Canada had an hour and a half special called "Avril Lavigne Exclusive" which showed her in concert singing new and old songs with some behind the scenes stuff. I don't remember it saying so, but it's likely the concert she had for fans in Calgary, Albert a while ago...

Check out these three videos (while they still remain online) first showing Avril singing "Girlfriend" live, then a "Behind the Scenes" segment that shows her doing the "Girlfriend" chorus in different languages, and after that her doing a live version of another new song "Runaway"!
