It's Avril Lavigne's birthday today - she's 23!

The gossip sites reported she started celebrating last week, and there's a video online at TMZ showing her outside "Koi" with her friends and also taking pictures of the paparazzi! :)

Not sure if everyone knows this or not, but Avril Lavigne was on the final episode of Canadian Idol last week!

She had a short meeting with the last two finalists and also sang "When You're Gone" and "Hot" from her new CD.
